Veda Farm is located on the big Island of Hawaii in the Hawaiin Acres Community Association. It is 3 acres of agriculture zoned land seated in a great location for growing all types of food while being high enough in elevation to keep the temperatures mild most of the year. The property is about 30 minutes to big box stores, dozens of beaches, and hiking. Our community is completely off-grid with solar power and water catchment. Amenities include onsite laundry, ample parking, and of course a ton of animal friends. We are focused on expanding our food systems and currently in the process of building a greenhouse, aqua-ponics, and expanding our food forest.
We aspire to get as close to self sufficient as possible while maintaining a balance for community members to pursue their own interests. We are open to members at this time but will only be limiting the community to 3-4 family units total depending on the number of people in each unit.
