As you know, most communities never get past the forming stage. When one forms, some find they don’t like the other people. The reason, in my opinion, is there’s no strong leader and no strong unified mission – or the leader is too strong and removes autonomy from members.
While churches, mosques, and synagogues have their drawbacks, they often endure a very long time. Thus, a shared perspective and mission is vital. So, while you don’t need to share our beliefs, we do require prospective members to take our classes (free) and pass a multiple-choice quiz (free) to ensure we are all on the same page.
Further, we will live together in Ventura County, to ensure everyone gets along. Then, we will start going every few months to scout locations, set up the ranch, and connect with locals.
