The Commons at Windekind is set on 144 acres, in which Members own about an acre of prime lawn and garden land where they can create a home, while co-owning, with eight other members 1/9th of 131 acres or the equivalent of 14.5 acres per family. Marijke and I, will stay in the original farmhouse as equal members and also own 1/9th of the Common Land. Two current Cottages Breidablick and Campanula are part of the Commons, Breidablick has been sold while Campanula is still available. Six private house sites are also for sale and new homes can be built on them.
