This listing is to pitch an idea for an intentional community in the Shreveport area. The idea is a cooperative home (dwelling) in an urban area that operates as a community. Members of the collective all share responsibilities of the home and the neighborhood surrounding it. There would be no typical person in a community like this, in fact diversity amongst the people is encouraged. Something like this would also entail direct involvement with the community at large and the issues that it assumes. This is by no means a group with any concrete forming principles, as things like that should be handled collectively. It should be the diversity and ingenuity and a collective to form a group. I myself am an anarchist, student, naturist, buddhist and organizer. My hope is that a group of similarly passionate individuals in my local area can imagine how a community like this can become reality and affect people’s perception about community building.
