Hello! We would love to introduce ourselves! We are Wayne & Heidi Sandall :o) We have been in search of a new way of living for a couple years now, exploring different models for intentional communities, networking with people doing this very thing, figuring out what works and what doesn’t, and praying for direction. We are Christians, and believe that the Lord has a plan for our lives, as well as, our world. We don’t have all the answers… we don’t have land yet…. But we want to put this out there and see if there are any other humans that are like-minded who want to share in our dream! So here we go…
Some of the basics that we are looking for in a community: Our Vision.
30-50 acres of land in North Idaho. Each family would purchase a share that would be a minimum of 5 acres. You would own your own piece of the pie.
Forests. Shared Management.
Water rights to our own land.
A stream or a river that runs through property.
Gardens & Greenhouses. Organic practices only. No GMO. Shared Management.
Passive solar homes or Off Grid. Open to partial electrical services.
Build barns/shops w/ living above to start out with.
Outdoor kitchen. Shared space.
Possibly have a shared building of some sorts, but not a deal breaker.
Share land with like-minded people.
Part-time living okay! Future retirement property? Sure! Vacation property? Sure!
