Welcome to Real De Talpa
An intentional, sustainable community in the Sierra Madre mountains with year-round spring like weather, just a two-and-half hour drive (or about a twenty-minute plane ride from our nearby airstrip) from one of Mexico’s favorite resort destinations, Puerto Vallarta and its second largest city, Guadalajara.
Real de Talpa is an ecovillage designed and maintained by neighbors with an emphasis on community, sustainability, conservation, and aesthetics.
We are a sustainable holistic reserve in a rural setting just 5 kilometers (about three miles) from the city center of the magical town of Talpa De Allende on a 73 hectare (180 acre) holistic natural reserve. There are 87 home lots ranging in size from 800 square meters (8611 Square feet) to 1600 square meters (16,145 square feet). Two thirds of the land will be available to all the residents, which includes hiking trails, a community house for activities which will include yoga classes, horseback riding trails, a healing tree, a Temezcal sweat lodge, a lake, a water-fall, a multi-use court that will include tennis and basketball. and organic fruit and vegetable orchards. There will also be a holistic, regenerative medical spa on the property.
Real de Talpa is an all-inclusive community that welcomes, families, elders, LBGTQ+ people, as well all abilities. All races, ethnicities, and beliefs are welcome.
